The outdoors

"What's that noise? There's someone here! There's someone else here!" Tanya, Kyle's date became frantic, "Who's here!" She ran out to the living room.

"Come on come on come on!" Dan was hissing at Tony from the opened door, Tony was rushing back to the room with a handful of pizza Kyle left on the table.

Just as Tony made it, and they shut the door again, Tanya was in the living room, Kyle caught up to her, "What is it?"

"You're one of them! You're one of them!" She yelled.

"What do you mean?" Kyle was trying to get her in his arms and calm her down.

"Get away! Where's my purse! Where's my stuff!" She was hysterical now, Tony and Dan were peeking out again.

"I don't know what you're talking about, come on what's wrong?" Begs Kyle, handing her purse, and clothing.

"There's so much you don't know, there's so much..." she fell into his arms in tears.

"Like what? What matters, everything's mellow, everything's mellow."

Tony looked at Dan, "Crazy."

"Dude, what is she so freaked out about?" Asked Dan between mouthfuls.

"There's a whole 'nother world out there Kyle," she began, sniffling herself to, "bigfoot, bigfoot and, and control, Kyle..." she broke into hevy sobs again.

Tony looked at Dan with his eyebrows upturned, "Bigfoot?"

"calm down calm down Tanya, tell me more."

Sniffling herself to again, "It all began when I became famous, they, they..."

"Who Tanya!"

"Them!" as she breaks into heavier sobs again.

Tony looks at Dan again, is about to say something, when they feel someone grasp the back of their necks, and thrust them into the living room. Tanya screams, Kyle gets up ready to fight, but two more men accost him from behind.

"Larry? Greg?" their neighbors.

"You screwed up guys," begins Isaiah once Tony Dan and Kyle were sitting tied together, "You only needed one hit, one hit was all we needed from you. Useless, trash." Isaiah was pacing, he looked at his watch, "You know what you've done to my career? My retirement?"

"What man! Our band?"

"Yes your damn band! You idiots!"

"We were man, we were, but but Nick had his break-down man, you remember!"

"Where is he!" Demands Isaiah.

Ahhh, the great outdoors.

I've returned to my fort, yes, my little fort, none wished it to be greater.

It's such a great design, the rain water trap, the granite percolator, all made from recycled tires, a lot of work went into this little castle.

I can't believe none of the guys ever gave it the light of day, bums I tell you, always insisting on their electric guitars, ugh, I swear, if they only brought themselves out here once.

Nick throws his legs up on the counter, and with the solar stove he puts a kettle to boil.

Picking up an old tattered guitar he strums a tune.
