Solunto Bakery in Little Italy closes today. Owner Domenick Cefalu is ready for retirement. (The Buon Appetito rstaurant mini-chain will be grabbing up the space.) Oh, but this is molto triste. Restaurants may come and go, but a bakery turning out genuine Sicilian breads is a rare wonder -- WAS a rare wonder.

I never eat at Solunto, but I eat the rolls all the time when I get sandwiches at Mona Lisa down the street. Now what?
