Susan Luzzaro
Susan's legacy was that she was driven by devotion to her family, a deep heartfelt caring of friends and her tenacity to expose those who infringed on the rights and wellbeing of others. Whether Susan was with family, friends or her community, her needs took a backseat to those around her while feeling enriched by their love and support. We love you, Susan......we love your family. May you be surrounded by the innocence of monarchs. Thanks for sharing.....we will miss you. Fran and Janie— May 10, 2017 2:58 p.m.
Did citizens lose when Councilman McCann won?
I truly believe that the Court of Appeals will over turn this judge who has been overturned more than once. This is ludicrous! Ms Clark was within her rights to attempt to get clarification on this issue. My heart goes out to her for doing a service for this community. I'm truly shocked.— March 23, 2016 2:03 p.m.
Chula Vista addresses homeless crisis
I've tried not to respond to you, because a lot of what you say is true. But worthless human trash just doesn't sit well. Wow, how mean spirited! One of the well meaning citizens.— March 14, 2016 2:41 p.m.
Sense of mistrust at Southwestern Community College
So disappointing to hear. I also was hopeful that after all the past problems that SWC was on the fast track to a full recovery. It's worrisome that an accrediting issue has raised it's ugly head again. SWC is too important to this community to have accrediting issues again! Hopefully the board is working together to resolve these issues. Division doesn't work.— February 11, 2016 2:13 p.m.
Our son's autism test score was down to 15
There are exceptions to every rule, how can we help make a change for this family?— January 16, 2016 1:14 p.m.
Palomar Card Club's string of bad luck
Hopefully she will prevail in the suit and laugh all the way to the bank. I'm sorry she'll never be able to eat a banana again. This certainly shows the type of environment present in this business. Damn disgusting!— December 18, 2015 7:19 a.m.
Chula Vista's cleanup act
I have no problem with the gambling issues. The problem is oversight. Money laundering and prostitution are inherent problems with gambling. Our proximity to the boarder is also a concern. The CV city council embracing the gambling issue knowing that there were previous issues is concerning. I guess it's all about $$$$$.— December 14, 2015 9:06 a.m.
Chula Vista fetes Seven Mile Casino as FBI investigates it
As the saying goes ,money talks and all else walks. Sounds like Pfingst may be correct. I thought we were attempting to make Chula Vista a place families would want to come to raise their families.— November 19, 2015 8:05 a.m.
Chula Vista goes all 21st Century
Does the name Hom ring a bell with the public. It sure does with CV and past SUSHD board members.— November 13, 2015 5:57 p.m.
Chula Vista considers all-mail voting
The polls were set up for many good reasons. Let the people who care enough to vote, exercise that privilege.— November 6, 2015 12:08 p.m.
