Kilowatt amped to bring groovy brew thing to O.B.
Yeah, we saw all your bluster in the article. OB doesn't need anymore alcohol establishments. (and whoop de doo, you close a whole 2 hours earlier than the bars).— October 6, 2016 1:22 p.m.
Aggressive transients put Ocean Beach on edge
Feel free to cite your source for this. And the voices in your head don't count.— July 6, 2016 4:39 p.m.
New O.B. houses dropped off by crane
Of course Jenn A would "Love it". Ever since she became involved in real estate, she's fine with selling OB to the highest bidder— June 1, 2016 4:31 p.m.
Will Faulconer’s political chums clash over Airbnb?
Shining a light ? You're in cahoots with the Short Term Rental Alliance so you can line your own pockets— October 15, 2015 4:06 p.m.
Debate: short-term rentals, good or bad?
I love how supporters of AirBnb love to call it a "sharing" economy. It's the exact opposite as it's purely selfish. You don't care about the quality of life of the neighbors from dealing with noise, parking issues along with depleted rental units for actual residents. It's motivated solely by your greed for money and the fact that you're too lazy to open up your own bed and breakfast, pay the permits and maintain it. You let some third-party handle all the bookings while you sit on your ass.— October 15, 2015 1:22 p.m.
New lifeguard statue vandalized in Ocean Beach
No, I'm just someone who cares about the neighborhood I call home. Someone who's willing to stand up for it and not let deviants come and do as they please, disrespecting the neighborhood. Quite frankly, I'm tired of having to clean up the Cliffs, the beach and other areas of OB when these type of "pranksters" trash the place because they think they have the right to do so. Adopting a laissez-faire attitude towards it doesn't solve the problem.— June 4, 2013 2 p.m.
New lifeguard statue vandalized in Ocean Beach
It's not just a piece of community art, you dolt. It's a memorial to honor the lifeguards and the people they tried to save back in 1918 which happened right near the spot where the statue was placed. But let's ignore that and follow your rationale. In your mind, it's "community art" so anyone can just go and finger paint it then, right ? That would mean other memorials such as headstones are also "community art". Sorry, twit, but in the real world, that's called vandalism. And I passed 3rd grade English. The "Is" refers to the word "one" which you omitted. Do OB a favor and move because you're not a true obcean, you could care less what criminals do to your town. The way you defend this crime, it seems you're probably the one that did it.— June 4, 2013 10:42 a.m.
New lifeguard statue vandalized in Ocean Beach
Apparently you missed it too. And that's besides not being able to spell a word printed right in front of you. "water soluble". Maybe if you did some research, you'd see other news sites with photos of the discoloration and damage to it. Not to mention you totally miss the aspect that the lifeguard in the article brought out that it's disrespectful to those it memorializes. Since it's no whoop-dee-doo, maybe you could tell me where one of your loved ones is buried so I can just go paint on their headstone.— June 3, 2013 10:37 p.m.
Cave rave at Sunset Cliffs attracts about 100 partiers
Whether you agree with the article or not, let's set the record straight. These idiot candy ravers shouldn't have been there in the first place. This is public land, it's not their own personal stomping ground to do as they please. Spare me the line, "these ravers don't litter". Even if they didn't bring one ounce of litter to the table, the Cliffs and it's natural inhabitants don't need strobe lights, loud music and people stomping all over. Oh and now you won't patronize the Reader anymore and you'll tell the two people you call "friends" to do the same. I'm sure the Reader is so worried about losing your input. It's a free paper, dumbass. But you've been to the Cliffs a fair numbers of times and it's always been trashed. I'm sure you've done your part though and tried to clean it up, right ? No, you just sit on your ass and bitch.— May 31, 2013 10:46 a.m.
