Interactive living museum devoted to endangered Southern California coastal wetlands, located in Sweetwater Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. Visitors meet a shuttle bus at the Bayfront E Street Trolley Station or at the center's parking lot at the foot of E Street and Bay Boulevard.

Living Coast is the place to see eye to eye with sea turtles, interact with sharks, and admire the claws of an eagle. Take a pair of binoculars and go on a guided Sweetwater Safari in the San Diego Bay Wildlife Refuge. For animal encounters of the closer kind, touch a turtle, feed a shark or ray, meet and greet an owl
