The majority of Fireside’s seating is in two large outdoor patios, cleverly combining areas of intimate banquettes with long, gorgeous wood tables suitable for large groups or communal dining. Most of the cooking is done on the huge wood burning grills, smokers, pizza ovens, and yakatori grills. The daily chalkboard features barbecued and grilled meats and fish; the yakatori bar’s menu includes proteins, vegetables, and daily specials. The affordable wine list doesn’t exceed $60, eight rotating taps of beer are available, and the cocktail program includes classics, house creations, and barrel-aged drinks.
