While the food doesn't really live up to the price, the atmosphere and the view make up for it. The restaurant is upstairs on the roof - Baja cantina style. Most dinner items $11 - 14. Watch it - Cokes are $3 bucks (way too expensive). $2 bucks for a basket of chips with salsa (should be free). Typical burrito, enchilada, fajitas type place. I also didn't care for the excessive rules on the menu, "no separate checks", "extra plate charge $2.00", "18% tip added to parties of 6 or more" (by law you may tip what ever you'd like, but don't mention it until you're finished eating or a restaurant can refuse service.) And cash only unless over $20.00. Downstairs bar (street level) has a separate $5 "street taco" appetizers menu. Full bar upstairs too. Probably a cool place hang out on Thursday night for street fair/farmer's market that goes on out on the street right below.

I was informed today that a group of American Legion Riders were turned away from your restaurant for wearing vests bearing the logo of the American Legion. Apparently, your staff is uninformed as to who exactly the American Legion is. Please take a look at this website to educate yourself and your staff:

This is an excerpt from Wikipedia to help your understanding:

"The American Legion is a social and mutual-aid veterans' organization including members of the United States armed forces. The organization was founded in 1919 by veterans returning from Europe after World War I, and was later chartered as an official American patriotic society under Title 36 of the United States Code. The organization is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, and also has offices in Washington, DC. The group has nearly 3 million members in over 14,000 Posts worldwide"

In essence, what you did this morning was alienate military veterans and active duty personnel who make up the membership of the American Legion. I'm appalled that a business in the City of Oceanside who probably sees a large amount of military customers would turn away a veterans organization chartered by the Congress of the United States.
