Mattress Firm Amphitheatre continues to double down on booking redneck royalty with the next featured artist in their summer series: Jason Aldean. The Georgia native recently released his eighth studio album, Rearview Town, earning his fourth consecutive number-one position on the Billboard 200 chart. Opener Luke Combs released his debut album last year on Columbia’s Nashville label, scoring his own number one on Billboard’s country chart.

Reenactment groups make Norway Hall their home as Vikings and Norse-folk set up camp to display traditional arts and crafts, skills, and home-ways. At the weapons range, visitors may try archery, plus spear- and axe-throwing. Two stages showcase local and international bands. List-field features Viking warriors engaging in battle with axe and sword. Experts educate about Viking armor, weaponry and battle techniques. Enjoy honey wines (mead) as brewers of mead and beer share their knowledge of the craft. Learn more about the history of Norway and Scandinavia, genealogy, and Norse cooking.

Moon Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival, is a harvest festival celebrated notably by ethnic Chinese and Vietnamese peoples. Typically held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar showing full moon at night, corresponding to late September of the Gregorian calendar showing full moon at night. Enjoy Moon Cakes, Jianbing (Chinese street crepe), Baozi, dumplings, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese crafts, Dragon Dance, Lion Dance, and other performances from China. Free and open to the public.
