Professional football legend Brian Sipe, who played for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League from 1974 to 1983 before two seasons in the upstart United States Football League, has kicked in $10,000 to the campaign for the ballot measure to turn what used to be called Qualcomm Stadium over to San Diego State University.
