Calling it "the biggest and best piece of art ever made about the issues surrounding immigration, or about anything else, for that matter," Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump today unveiled his "Greater Wall," a replica of China's Great Wall extending along the entire U.S.-Mexico border.

"The installation addresses so many aspects of our national character," said Trump at a press conference in the border city of San Diego. "Our status as an empire, much as China was an empire. Questions of trade regulation. Concerns over foreign influence on a magnificent culture. The list goes on almost as long as the wall itself. I am personally very proud to have been involved with this singular and powerful project, which I hope will contribute to the discussion of America and its interaction with the outside world for decades to come."

Trump also noted that, instead of a single artist, some 10,000 individuals had been issued grants pursuant to its collaborative realization. "In this way, it is something like the cathedral at Chartres, giving glory not to the maker, but to the one for whom it was made. Which in this case is me."
