The San Diego woman identified by sheriff's deputies as a suspect in the death of 28-year-old Victor Saucedo — found shot to death at the Mariners Point apartments in Imperial Beach on October 16 — may want to take down her Facebook page. But she can’t because she was booked into Las Colinas Women’s Detention Facility following the murder.

Vegas Bray, reportedly a waitress at Little Darlings strip club in Lemon Grove, has several favorite quotes posted on her Facebook page. Among them are: "You are destined for great and unfortunate things”; "I believe in opportunity. And the power of reason to seize upon it”; "What's dead may never die but rises again harder & stronger”; "The morning sun may greet you with your last fucking day”; "KILL THEM ALL.” Lastly, a quote from actress Salma Hayek: "I keep waiting to meet a man who has more balls than I do.”

Reportedly, Bray had been stalking Saucedo since they ended a relationship last December. Saucedo had reported incidents of vandalism purportedly committed by Bray, but there was never enough evidence to implicate her, according to authorities.

I included it with the story: Here it is but don't delay as I imagine it will probably come down soon:

This is a public Facebook page. My heart goes out to the family of victim Victor Saucedo.

That second FB page has been deleted or deactivated.......

Great investigative work, Gail. Your work is an example of what makes the Reader so great...

Thank you Mr. Cornaglia. I like your stories too. Crimes of passion are very intriguing to me.

Yep-passion, why they cant get a divorce or figure out a safe way to wok out problems is why they call it passion.......crimes of passion

Crimes of passion are more like when someone is so overcome with emotion and crazed with love and obsession, that they literally, are out of their minds. It is the stuff of best-selling books and Oscar-winning movies. Reading more details about the relationship between the deceased and Vegas Bray, it seems to me the dead boyfriend treated Vegas like nothing more than a booty call. When she wanted more in the relationship, he brushed her off. Looks like right before she (allegedly) shot him dead, she had spent the night, & then he sent her packing once again. I think something snapped right there and the result was, unfortunately, this tragedy.

I keep hoping that the news media (the SD Reader in particular) will decide Imperial Beach is worth covering once in a while. But let's not kill each other to get their attention folks, it just isn't worth it.
