Hey, Hey, Paula (See You in Court)

Local firm Pro-Stars filed a lawsuit on November 8 against Paula Abdul, alleging "breach of contract." The suit contends Abdul agreed to let the company exclusively represent the trademark for a jewelry line called "Innergy By Paula Abdul." Upon finding out that Abdul inked a similar deal with Sam's Club (a Wal-Mart division), Pro-Stars filed suit in downtown's superior court.

Jewelry pieces such as a peace-sign pendant with diamonds ($296.67) are currently listed at shop.paula-abdul.net as "sold exclusively at Sam's Club." Other items in the line, as worn by American Idol contestants last season, include bracelets ($65 to $75) and necklaces ($287 to $1500).

In other Abdul jewelry news, the celeb must face Nancy Davis, an L.A. jeweler suing Abdul for allegedly failing to return $36,000 worth of items loaned to wear on the May 5 American Idol finale.
