Synopsis

She may look like a sparrow going dressed as Woody Allen for Halloween, but when Ruth Bader Ginsburg speaks, she has the power to change the world. Currently the only serving female Supreme Court justice, her accomplishments are too abundant for one feature, perhaps especially this one. Once looked upon as an escape from reality, movies have now assumed the role of escape from television. So what incentive is there, really, for the public to plunk down a sawbuck or more for a ticket to a CNN-produced documentary? I’ve yet to see a CNN production that suffered from a small-screen viewing, and it seems more than likely that the network will find a slot for this one in its permanent rotation. Directors Julie Cohen and Betsy West do earn some points for bringing to light the great love affair between Ginsburg and her heart’s dearly departed desire: husband Martin. But the rest is about as visually stimulating as paging up and down through her Wikipedia page.

"She may look like a sparrow going dressed as Woody Allen for Halloween".. You honestly lead with a slam on her looks?

"Currently the only serving female Supreme Court justice"

Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, both appointed by Barack Obama, currently serve on the court.
