Age limit: Not available

Ongoing: until Sunday, March 3, 2019

Danai Gurira's big canvas comedy-farce-drama begins with certainty. Donald and Marvelous Chinyarmwira fled from Zimbabwe and became naturalized citizens in 1986.  From the looks of things, they have assimilated. Their daughters and Marvelous' older sister think otherwise. The nuclear family almost nukes, and the play becomes funnier and funnier. Credit to director Edward Torres and an impressive Old Globe cast for a strong production, even when the script makes occasional slips. Critic's Pick.
