Jamie Brandli's clever and intense new play focuses on four women in a 1960's American suburb. Each is a theatrical descendant of a Greek tragedy heroine. Delicia Turner Sonnenberg has directed with the skill of a surgeon. Morgan Carberry as Clementine, a woman bored with her marriage who flirts dramatically with adultery and murder, is a standout in this adept cast. She has the frustration of her character honed to a fine point. The script is nearly brilliant in Act one. But Act two gets bogged down with confusing scenes that delay the impending climax. Victoria Petrovich's set, featuring three rooms of typical suburban homes in monotone hues of pink, blue, and green, gives just the right ambience. Worth a try.
