Even though Los Angeles boasts numerous professional performance venues, it’s tough to match the energy and excitement generated by student performers at the Colburn School. The interconnected buildings of our state-of-the-art, modern campus located at Olive and Grand Avenues in downtown Los Angeles house more than 421,840 square feet of performance halls, rehearsal areas, practice rooms, and studios. The Colburn School provides young people who possess a passion for music, dance, and drama access to quality instruction so they may further explore their interests and continue developing their talents.
Program: Sonata for Piano with French Horn in F major, Op. 17 Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) Grand Duo Concertante for Violin & Double Bass Giovanni Bottesini (1821-1889) (arr. Sivori) Intermission String Quintet No. 2, Op. 77 for Two Violins, Viola, Cello & Bass Antonin Dvorak (1841-1904)
