Wild Walk: Nocturnal Neighbors
Ever heard a bump in the night that made you walk a little faster? A rustle in the bushes that sent the hairs on the back of your neck tingling? Come learn about some of the likely culprits during this one-hour evening program that takes place at sunset. We'll explore the twilight creatures common in San Diego County and discuss some ways we can be a good neighbor to all wildlife, including what lurks in the dark. This program is not intentionally scary! Please bring a flashlight, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and long pants, and bring any water or snacks you may need. All Wild Walks include an animal presentation from one of our animal ambassadors, as well as a short, easy hike into the neighboring San Diego National Wildlife Refuge to explore for more.
