Julian Gold Rush Days Celebrating the 150th year since Julian's discovery of gold. Julian Gold Rush Days celebrates the discovery of gold in 1869 in this mountain community and invites visitors to learn more about its history with a weekend of entertainment. Living History Reenactors, Kansas Mercantile, an arts and crafts market, food and drink vendors, and plenty of good ol' family fun! ADMISSION is $3 and includes participation in the following: -Visit the reenactment camps sponsored by Society of Civil War Reenactors and see Civil War battle & demos. -Interacting with Fiddles & Folk playing live music from the Gold Rush days, Civil War, and folk tunes. -Join in the square-dancing lessons, Medicine Show and old-time entertainment throughout the day.
