Join the Carlsbad City Library, in partnership with San Diego OASIS, a non-profit that promotes healthy lifestyles, for the second talk of its Good Life Lecture Series, a six-part health and wellness series. This week's lecture is “Keeping Your Wits: Why Brain Function Declines and Ten Ways to Prevent It” led by Dr. Philip Goscienski. Surprising to some, the decline in one’s mental function has nothing to do with aging. In fact, some mental functions actually improve with age. There are at least ten things that one can do to keep the brain working while the rest of the body is working. Come to this informative lecture to find out how. Refreshments will be provided.
