The first part of the Sounds of Spring program will feature Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem. Mozart, considered the world's most prolific musical genius, wrote this work just before his death at 35 years of age. San Diego vocal soloists will join the 65-voice chorus and symphony orchestra to bring you this beautiful music. The second part the program includes songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber's many award-winning musicals, including Phantom of the Opera ("Music of the Night," "Masquerade") , Evita ("Don’t Cry for Me Argentina"), Jesus Christ Superstar (title theme), and Cats ("Memory"). The performance will conclude with a medley of songs from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
