Conversation with the San Diego Anti-Defamation League
USD's Humanities Center will offer a series of programs intended to address some of the most important challenges and issues of our time and guest speakers Tammy Gillies, Regional Director, and Elaine Feuer-Barton, Regional Board Chair, will discuss the Anti-Defamation League.
More than 100 incidents of anti-semitism have been reported on College campuses across the nation in 2017. Join the ADL and Humanities Center for a frank discussion about their work, hate crimes, and incidents of intolerance. The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 to "stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair tratement to all." Now the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency, ADL fights anti-semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all.
