Some people sleep in on Thanksgiving while many begin feast preparations early in the day. If you don't have anything planned, you might be wondering, What am I going to do all day until dinner? While I'm the primary cook this Thanksgiving, I'm still going to make time for a little yoga to limber up, strengthen your muscles, and de-stress before the holiday goes full steam.
Maria Camacho, owner and instructor at The Little Yoga Studio (702 Ash St) is holding a Thanksgiving morning class at 8:30 a.m. The class is all levels vinyasa with modifications for advanced and beginning students.
"All funds collected from this class will be donated to aid our Hurricane Sandy friends in the East Coast. Let's spread some love and our good fortune to those who need help," said Camacho.
The cost of the class is $16, and mats, towels, and other props are provided free of charge.
