6,000 Students Return to Cetys (El Vigia, 1/20/13)

Ensenada, BC - Close to 6,000 preparatory and vocational statewide students return to Cetys University classrooms on Monday, January 21, added to graduate and undergraduate business administration students who began classes on January 7 and 14, respectively.

Fernando León García, Rector of the Cetys University system stated that the Tijuana campus returned to school with a total of 2,152 students, of which 560 are high school and 875 professional, in addition to 720 graduates. 1,029 Ensenada campus students will return to classrooms. Of them 307 students are undergraduate, 453 high school and 269 graduate. For its part, the Mexicali campus receives 2,441, of whom 668 are graduate, 843 high school and 930 professional.

"Cetys University seeks to train people in a comprehensive manner at the forefront in its educational model with a focus on the quality of its faculty, programs and facilities that allow us to prepare high-level professionals who contribute in a significant way to the development of institutions and enterprises at regional, national and international levels," said León García.

"We know that students come to this house of studies with dreams and our role is to help to make them, all within a framework of the integral formation of the person," he said.
