My Love for Movies

I used to go to the movies when ever I wanted. I even had my favorite theater movie and the best times to enjoy the movie. Yes the time in which there is no one kicking your seat, the cellphone conversation or the baby crying. Rancho del Rey, was my theater for kings. Especially on weekdays afternoons before 5:00p.m. I now say it used to be my favorite theater in Chula Vista, because with the down hills of economy my economy dropped too. In the summer I started making up in my mind that the movies on theater for that season were not good enough for the eight dollars I was going to get out of my pocket. Then, after my boyfriend received a gift card from Blockbuster video, I came to love the idea of staying home and rent a DVD and eat all the popcorn I wanted with all the extra butter without the extra cash. Two months later the gift card was gone.. Now it was time to try the Civic Center library branch. It was sometimes a pain in the butt trying to not become frustrated when the movie stopped because of all the scratches the DVD had. Still it was fun to take a walk to the library and hope to find a new movie release before the DVD was all damaged.I couldn't complain. I had a great bargain. For only twenty dollars per year, I could rent as many movies I wnated for up to five days. What happened next? I found a better bargain. Now I didn't have the "privilege" to take out movies from the library, because I couldn't afford the rwnovation fee. Now I get to read the novels, from which many nominated Oscar movies have been inspired. I get to use my imagination and use my favorite actor or actress to play the roles that I want. Most important my library card is free and I can take out as many books that I want for up to one month. Of course there is always the book with ripped pages, but that is another story. You never know, I might be reading the next great story taken to the big screen.
