Good News for SR 125 Toll Road Drivers
What a boondoggle ! Coming from the Chicago area, which is cursed with toll roads that are gridlocked, I love the "free ways" here. I quickly learned to avoid this toll road. Will continue to do so until it's also "free".— May 20, 2012 6:05 a.m.
My Guilty Pleasure: Costco Hot Dogs
Great place to take a date cheaply. You can even splurge on dessert - churros.— March 31, 2012 12:16 p.m.
UCAN to Undergo Court-Supervised Reorganization
Wow! My two favorite people in San Diego are at each others throats. I sincerely hope that this gets settled amicably. I also hope that some corporation, like SDGE is not behind this !— February 29, 2012 2:09 p.m.
Paradise Plundered tells San Diego story
I've lived in San Diego for twenty-some years. It was immediately apparent when arriving here that things were reversed in this city - the citizens exist to serve their city govt. This sad state of affairs has continued as the city spins towards being bankrupt. Keep on voting Republican, you fools.— September 15, 2011 7:14 a.m.
City's Latest Attempt to Thwart Kessler Suit Fails
When I moved here 24 years ago from Chicago, I was shocked to see the level of corruption and misinformation produced by the San Diego government. Got to watch the subsequent administrations sell-out to the big business interests and cave to the unions. Now I get to watch the results.... not pretty at all. The citizens of San Diego are here to serve the City govt. and their big business masters. And don't forget it !— March 2, 2011 4:05 p.m.
The Chula Vista Power Plant and Its Green Potential
Good story. I didn't know about the colony of sea turtles in the south bay. I wonder if they will decline when the power plant ceases operation. Unintended consequences.... Maybe they should be relocated.— December 17, 2010 8:37 a.m.
Copley's Former Casa del Zorro, Financially Troubled, for Sale Again
Borrego Springs seems a lot like Baja Mexico in the respect that it's a nice place to stay, but don't buy property unless you are willing to put your investment at risk.— August 29, 2010 5:28 p.m.
