My name is Nicole Pfeiffer and I graduated from Ramona High School in 2007 and started working for The UPS Store shortly after and have worked my way up to Managing The UPS Store in Oceanside.
I have been in love with photography for many years. But when I think back believe my love with it started my freshman year in high school when I lost my home in the Cedar Fire. It was a very difficult time for me but I believe I found my love for photography through it, I believe loosing so many photos of my childhood and so many irreplaceable things made me want to replace those photos with new photos. I remember hearing the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" and in my head turned it into "a picture is worth a thousand memories".
Before the fires I would get disposable cameras and photograph everything from plants to trees to scenery.
After the fires my family decided to get a digital camera, it was supposed to be a "family camera" well it turned into a "Nicole Camera" I always had the camera with me. And I would take pictures of everything, I would bring the camera with me to all my Choir events and photograph the behind the scenes.
I wouldn't change my past for anything, my past and going through what I went through has made me the person I am today and I believe has given me some of the love of photography that I have today.
