Tijuana's Downtown Revival
Wow, the Tijuana I never met. I was born under the times of the "Tijuana is dangerous" slogan. Couldn't even get past my house's street without a "Be careful, don't do this-don't do that" speech from my parents. And all I wanted was to get some weed from that cigar shop in Rosarito. All jokes aside, this "agua-loca" of Tijuana you show just blows away any young-gun that's looking for an adventure (and I'm not talking about the "paraditas" in the Coahuila), hopefully Tijuana will keep remodelling the night-life (even with a "balacera" at every "esquina"), and hopefully we'll still be "in" (meaning us pretentious intellectuals). Hey! Maybe chujs will be fashionable again... Maybe, maybe, you never know.— February 18, 2010 12:20 a.m.
