Back for its second year, an array of performances, masterclasses, and demonstrations will be held over two weekends at Rhapsody Hall SDSU School of Music and Dance. Funded in part through the Student Success Fee Academic Related Programs Award at San Diego State University, the San Diego Guitar Festival has once again partnered with Museum of Making Music Carlsbad for Classic Strings & Modern Brew, where the classical guitar world meets Stone Brewing Company, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, and Bagby Beer Company in a concert, beer-tasting experience.

Performers include Grammy-winners David Russell and Paul O’Dette, Alhambra competition winner Andrea González Caballero, Tarrega competition winner Thomas Viloteau, and Guitar Foundation of America competition winner Vladimir Gorbach.
