Race Your Motorcycle
799 Forrest Gate Road, Campo, 91906
Cost: $10
From the 1950s to the early ‘80s, San Diego was a hotbed for motorcycle flat track racing. Some of the most famous names in racing honed their skills on tracks in San Diego County. Demand for land and the rise in popularity of SuperCross eventually spelled the end for local tracks.
California Vintage Motocross is trying to revive the sport with a newly constructed ¼-mile course in Campo. The club offers classes for riders of any age and ability using any kind of two-, three-, and four-wheeled machine.
On Saturday you can race your two wheeler. On Sunday, three wheelers and quads. $10 to get in, with entry fee to race.
