"Beatles Art and Artifacts"
4186 Adams Avenue, San Diego, 92116
Cost: Free
The Beatles portion of the exhibit combines art and artifacts, "including an actual brick" from the Cavern Club in Liverpool, "a speck of John Lennon’s hair (with certificate of authenticity)," rare Beatles photographs, a leaf from Paul’s boyhood home, more. Also on view: "a highbrow display by the SDSU furniture artist cartel," who have used disparate materials including concrete, plaster, carbon fiber, reclaimed wood and even mud.
